The Processing IDE that has been working for years is now opening for a few seconds and then closing. I have downloaded both new Processing IDE and Java. This has no effect at all. Any ideas what else I can try.
Also I’m on a Mac.

I had a problem like that once working in P.js mode. I found out that instead of opening the Processing IDE, I use the Windows explorer to find a pde file. I double clicked the file ad that launched Processing.
You can always download a previous version of Processing if you think the problem is related to the latest version.
