Several students tell me they have issues with the automatic download of OpenKinect (but also sometimes with other librairies hosted on github). Could it be a DNS issue ? Someting else ?
Do you mean through the contribution manager?
That’s right, it doesn’t work through the contribution manager. It doesn’t even start, then a message says that it won’t be able to work.
Looking at the entry of OpenKinect in the Contribution Source reveals that the library is hosted here. The library seems to be downloadable for me through the contribution manager and also through the direct link.
So I would guess there is something wrong with the infrastructure on your side. Try to download the library directly and if that does not work it is not processings fault.
