MacOS microphone access

I have troubles giving my Processing application the necessary microphone access as MacOS (Big Sur in my case) doesn’t open the permission window.

I know the issue was discussed here and I did find a workaround opening Processing using the terminal. However I would like to distribute the Sketch as an exported application and it’s the same issue there. So I was wondering if any of you found a solution to trigger this permission window?

For anyone who has similar problems – you can open the exported application through Terminal as well and the microphone access window will appear.

However this is obviously still not optimal when you want to distribute the application. :confused:
