I lost all of the things I had programmed on to one of my files after an update that I never installed. I was wondering of any good way of recovering the file.
that would be very bad,
but actually i think you just lost the path link to your sketchbook,
while it is still there ( with all saved projects )
so scan your harddrive for directories like processing or sketchbook
and when you found it ( like a old one with your files // and a new one empty )
check in Processing IDE 3.4
/Files/ Preferences /
/sketchbook location /
that it point to the old location
OR
move the files to the new location…
