I work currently with Arduino and sensors, and like create for test an amazing user interface with some instruments (temperature, humidity and more).

SparkFun’s tutorial has helped me quite a lot to get started when I was in your shoes. Take a look at what they got here.

Surely, stop by this link to check out the numerous libraries contributed by the community, which eases the way Processing and Arduino talk. There are some good ones on the official libraries page of Processing as well.
Ow and, throw a buggy code or two when you’re stuck here. We shall help best we can.
