Teensy 3.2 + Octows2811 adaptor - Processing error: InvocationTargetException

Hello all,

New here - wanting to make an LED TV using Teensy 3.2 and ws2811 adaptor.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04 64-bit Intel® Core™ i5-2450M CPU @ 2.50GHz × 4

Got Arduino IDE 1.8.10 working after teensyduino 1.48 installer and programmed Teensy 3.2 on ttyACM0 with ‘VideoDisplay’ sketch from ws2811 examples folder.
Installed Processing 3.5.3
Loaded movie2serial.pde sketch from ws2811 examples folder.

Experiencing the following error with no idea how to overcome - any help is appreciated

This looks video / GStreamer-related – somebody may chime in on that, as those things have seen some recent changes – but possibly see also past discussions involving Teensy:

Strangely, just downloaded Processing on a Macbook pro and the same sketch runs fine with no errors
