@Kevin It seems it is not working at the moment. Testing on a post:

See the Pen jumpingBallPEN by kfrajer (@kfrajer) on CodePen.

<p data-height="265" data-theme-id="dark" data-slug-hash="KRdJrP" data-default-tab="html,css,js,result" data-user="kfrajer" data-embed-version="2" data-pen-title="jumpingBallPEN" class="codepen">See the Pen <a href="https://codepen.io/kfrajer/pen/KRdJrP/">jumpingBallPEN</a> by kfrajer (<a href="https://codepen.io/kfrajer">@kfrajer</a>) on <a href="https://codepen.io">CodePen</a>.</p>

What’s not working? I see the CodePen OneBox in your first post, and I wouldn’t expect the embed to work.

@Kevin Shouldn’t you get the Run pen button as in your site http://happycoding.io/blog/the-codepen-is-mightier-than-the-sword?

On the forum, the only thing that’s supported is the OneBox, which is the thing in your first post.

I think previously the OneBox was an embedded editor, but now it just links to the CodePen page. My guess is CodePen changed something on their end since then.

I’m here now, can someone please point me towards a post explaining how to format posts in the new forum?

Thanks,

The forum supports markdown, bbcode, and html. I’d start by just using the buttons in the editor, which will add the formatting for you. Also try googling “markdown” or “bbcode” for more exhaustive guides.

Oh nice, this is far more extensive than the good old forum
