Is anyone using Processing or p5.js library in the classroom or coding club?

I’m trying to connect to CS teachers or educators teaching coding in schools and coding clubs.

I’m about to develop an illustrated coding curriculum in PowerPoint format with nice custom illustrations. Why PowerPoint? — So it can be editable and each teacher can adapt it to particular scenarios.

I need your opinion on this… Do you find it helpful? Do you have any suggestions? Do you want me to notify you when this is available?

(This is an example https://codeguppy.com/site/download/coding_intro.pdf of how may look)

Thanks!

Hi @codeguppy,

Thanks for sharing, it looks very accessible and fun to learn! :+1: (I am not a teacher myself so I don’t really have precise feedback about that)

Why not use the OpenDocument format (.odp) instead? OpenDocument - Wikipedia
LibreOffice for example is free and open source and can easily provide the features to make a similar document.

Thank you for the suggestion!

No, I am not, but it is my ultimate goal to do so! I pray that I can do that some day.
