When I try to install Python mode i get the message “Could not find a mode in the downloaded file” . Tried downloading a fresh copy but still get the same message. I can remove and install Android mode, P5.js mode and REPL mode. Only Python mode can’t be installed.

Nope, you aren’t! You need to unzip it inside “sketchBookFolder”/modes/
