I got this message for the first time starting Processing 4.4.10:
Any idea why?
It started up normally after message box appeared.

I tracked this down to this place in the Processing code: processing/app/Base.java#L252-L271
It looks like this was introduced to get around an issue on Linux where a shared TEMP folder was causing name collisions in new sketches.
Which OS are you using?

I am using Windows 10.
I was doing some PC cleanup and cleared out my TEMP folder earlier in the day; I clean this out routinely.
This is the first time I have ever seen this and only the one time so far.
