I would like to illustrate Ambisonics principles to my students and thought that would be nice to visualize spherical harmonics in 3d dynamically…
Has anyone tried this? Any codes/tips?

You might want to take a look at toxicilibs spherical harmonics, you will need to replace OPENGL with P3D. I think there is also a processing.js version.
