PCD @ Toronto 2026

Hi all.
I’m Stephen Boyd, a Toronto-based generative artist working in rule-based systems since 2003. I run creative-coding workshops, have taught at UofT, and keep a studio at Gerrard Art Space (GAS) in the city’s east end.

I’d like to register Toronto for PCD 2026.

Two public events:

  1. A hands-on p5.js workshop, “Rules, Randomness, Repeatability,” during the first two weeks of October. The workshop will be targeted for beginner to intermediate level of Processing knowledge.
  2. A talk and open studio at GAS, with generative work made using Processing on the walls as live examples of a 25-year generative practice.

I’m open to co-organisers and additional Toronto-area sessions. If you teach or make with Processing/p5.js here, get in touch!

I’ll update this thread with more details as planning progresses.

Hi,
I’ve updated information for the first PCD Toronto event and I have created a separate event listing for the show-n-tell we have planned for October 20th. I will submit a “new issue” for the PCD map with this url.

Here’s the new PCD entry:
