Hi! I just replied to the email probably at the same time as your reply here haha. I am going to be out of town without wifi this week (leaving tomorrow) so will have to miss Wednesday but please keep me up to date. I know a couple people on the call like Munus ![]()
@sableraph I was just trying to update the primary email for the day.processing.org entry from my personal address to “team@pcd2026.nyc” but the UI doesn’t let me. How can I go about changing that?
Hey @book.of.iris, to edit your event data, scroll down on the event details panel and click “Edit this event data”. It’ll take you to a GitHub issue form where you can change your event information.
Every time I try to edit a field the text reverts back to its original value. I replicated in both Safari and Chromium-based Helix browsers. See this screen recording: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GwOVMhq9ZIh40TtkTRdNUV7KmLSd2HkN/view?usp=sharing
I see! This appears to be a bug with the way GitHub pre-populates the issue form. I have submitted a ticket to GitHub support (screenshot below).
In the meantime, you can make the changes directly to your event’s metadata.json via a Pull Request.
We’re excited to share our open call!
Processing Community Day @ NYC is looking for talks, presentations, workshops, art, performances, and more!
Submit to the open call by August 15: Open Call! PCD @ NYC '26
Woohoo this looks great Claire!
Hi PCD @ NYC it was nice to virtually meet today on zoom!
I wanted to share my donation request letter with y’all since we talked about donations a little bit on the call (I hope that is ok). This is the letter that I email blasted out to larger companies in the Atlanta area that are semi tech related or have interests in technology/are and not what I use for in person requests.
Best, Eddie
