We open sourced some small tools for geospatial visualizations. GitHub - SchmidtDSE/processing-geo-tools: Some pieces of Processing code we’ve found useful for geospatial stuff.. It’s not meant to be a full library but we noticed that there was some code we kept re-using between sketches. So, we wanted to release!
In addition to converting between coordinates in geo-space (latitude / longitude on the Earth) and pixel-space (x / y on a screen), it offers panning / zooming, polygons in geo-space, and very basic geojson support.
Builds and feedback welcome! Hoping to offer a more involved example soon in a “real” project.
P.S. Still hoping / wishing that unfolding will come back someday.
