Merging two pictures

I realized if I scroll through a panorama it looks like looking up and down; so I thought: what if I made a panorama on a plane?

I then realized that I would need to simulate the merging in a panorama twice, but I did not know how to do that.

please help.

PS: I have another problem that I will post separately, but for now I will completely ignore merging.

Iā€™m trying to understand what it is you want to accomplish. Do you want to create an illusion of a virtual environment, like a skybox?
