Guidance for working on making sketches private in the web editor

Hi,

I am Nikhil Sharma, a final year undergrad from India. Build apps using react, node , graphQL and git. I am gained an experiance of almost 3 years with react, interning with companies like BITCS, Educhamp and Postman Inc. I have been contributing to processing for a while through PRs as well as code reviews and wish to participate in this year’s gsoc by working on making the sketches private for the processing web editor.

Can anyone please guide me on some of the following queries :-

  1. Can I start working and contributing on the idea bit by bit in the form of PRs now ?
  2. What shall I include in my proposal. Should it be a detailed explaination about this project that I have chosen or can I include other open issues in it as well ?
