Thank you so much for your thoughts! I’d like to build on existing work whenever possible.
Since I also developed a library for personal use (that was before Aditya’s work existed), it’s possible that there will be some design conflicts that will be hard to reconcile. However, I’m already planning to significantly refactor my code, so it may not be a problem. I’ll have to sort this out (hopefully before I formalize my proposal).
Aditya was also kind enough to share a few other related libraries, and Jesús did as well, so I’d also like to look through those for additional inspiration.
