Synchrony: An artist's guide to talking mathematics with p5.js

Hello! I wrote a book called Synchrony that introduces beginners to mathematical modeling in p5.js. It also doubles as a prequel to 2001: A Space Odyssey. Hope it’s helpful

Cool, I started looking at “the book” and I’m impressed with the lighthearted approach, yet serious and useful information. Great examples to inspire also.

I remember finding this before you posted it here. It’s one of my new favorite resources that I’ll throw at my 8th graders when it comes to how Math and Code work together. And the infinite limits of what can be done so long as you put your mind to it.

Thanks for your book!
