Try the java.text.DateFormat class, which can take a string and convert it into a java.util.Date object. I’m not an expert, but it’s a good place to start. In the future, it’s also good to be able to break down your problem and ask more specific questions of the internet, such as “How do I convert a String to a Date?”.
