P5 Sound Library - mic input issue in Safari, firefox

using basic Sound: Live Input sketch from Example files

mic.getLevel() appears to be rounded down to 0 in Safari & Firefox

tested in OSX Catalina and in Monterey

Chrome appears ok.

Any one else seeing this?

& is there a fix, if we don’t want to use Chrome?

I’ve raised Issue on Github as last one was closed.

& following the previous issue can kluge a result via fft but this used to just work & was good way in to intro students to sound & image.
