I found this today, but haven’t gotten around to try to install it: JAMA: Java Matrix Package . I’m not actually sure how to install it (as it’s a Java library in a .jar file), but guessing one of these methods should work? How to Install a Contributed Library .

Also check ND4J , the « numpy » for the JVM as it’s creators present it. It seems to be very similar (many functions share the same name) and even faster than numpy.
