Is it possible to make a sketch template?

I am curious if there is a way to make a template for new sketches so that when you open Processing 3 from start it has a bunch of text pre-loaded instead of being blank?

I was able to do this in Arduino via the instructions in this forum post.

Curious if there is a way to do this in Processing?

Absolutely wonderful that worked super well! I did not know it needed to be in the “JAVA” folder and to also be bare and not within a folder of the sketch name. Thank you!
