Hardware optimization for the Hamoid Video Export Library (FFMPEG)

I’m a big fan of the Hamoid Video Export Library and have been using it recently with great results. I do have encountered frame drop with some sketches, however, and usually, they are longer, and have more things going on at the same time. I feed “live input” so to speak via midibus into the sketches.

I am about to get a new system (i.e. computer) and am wondering which hardware parts are likely to matter most in this equation - CPU, GPU, RAM or Hard Drive etc.

and if CPU, should one look at number of cores or single core speeds, AMD or Intel

also, Linux/Windows/Apple

is there any noticeable difference in these and overall ffmpeg performance?

This is the most important part of my decision as of what to buy.

All thoughts about this matter greatly appreciated.
