GSoC 2023: Join the Processing Foundation as a Summer of Code Contributor!

Hi @AsukaMinato!

I checked out your work. Very impressive! I think you may be interested in a project I’m working on with @jesi-rgb. We’re proposing an add-on library for p5.js that will make it easier to program mathematical visualizations. We’re calling it Mathemagical.js.

We’re hoping to be selected for a fellowship, and if so, we’ll start out by releasing a spec for the API, so that we can get feedback as soon as possible. It seems like you’d have a lot of insights to offer.

Would you be interested to join our mailing list so that we can let you know when we have updates? You can learn more about our project and join our mailing list by visiting our proposal site.

Thanks!
Greg

Thank you so much @AsukaMinato!! I really appreciate it.

Hello Everyone, I am Diya Solanki. A third-year, Information Science and Engineering student. I love contributing to open-source organizations. I have been contributing to p5.js for a while now. Since the timeline for GSoC 2024 has been released, I am keen to know more about it and learn more about open-source, and dive deeper into it. I would be grateful if somebody could suggest what areas of p5.js should I look into to find issues or probably some advice or direction.
