Im tryna get a list off all items in a folder, to make a minecraft texture pack file viewer because i wanted to.
i noticed on linux it runs smooth but on windows its very slow…

Hmmm! Hard to say… What does very slow mean ?
Actually, it shouldn’t be much difference with comparable hardware setup !?
Do you maybe have some processes (ie. Anti Virus Software, etc) which hooks into file access in windows !?
