I tried to do something similar, but ended up getting more of a pointillistic image 
Think i’ll try the linear way later

@stirman How did you do that? Have you released the code anywhere? I am adding a random jitter to a for loop, which just creates lines.

Maybe start with a posterized image, or would it lose too much? I might have to try something myself.

These I had done a long time ago, testing someone else’s code … from Openprocessing. (They still work!)
