I’ve just go into coding and wrestled myself on a language to start with. I finally decided JavaScript because p5.js is looks so fun and very nice to learn. I have this idea for visualization for music and it seems sorta complex for a beginner. Would anyone mind helping me out?

Depending on what you are looking for there are lots of examples on this site for this. Usually searching fft should give you good results, for both p5 and processing.
