Hi everyone -

My name is Jae and I’m one of the GSoC participants this year working on improving the beginner/new user experience for the PDE.

I am currently working on a Welcome Tool part of my [project](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oH1yaX54eEISHi2eZhVxY6WyzInNWZumrLmz__yRwuc/edit?usp=sharing) and would love the community’s input. The goal of the Tool is to allow a smoother introduction to the PDE for new/beginner users.

Currently, the idea is to implement a window that would include screenshots/gifs of where to find certain features and users would be able to click through the pages.

If you could fill out this survey [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSddagNLnQHNuj8GhEWzL420uWd\_IxczdGB7k-q-EJTpaYb7MQ/viewform?usp=sf\_link](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSddagNLnQHNuj8GhEWzL420uWd_IxczdGB7k-q-EJTpaYb7MQ/viewform?usp=sf_link) I would really appreciate it!

Thanks so much!
