I try to import the Video GStreamer based library Version 2.0 in Processing 4.0.b7. The library manager complains “2.0 not compatible” I tried to download and install it from Github, but the IDE does not see it. According to the changes document it should be working so I wonder what goes wrong.

Hello,

I was able to add the _Video Library for Processing 4 Version 2.1_
to Processing 4.0b7.

Before:

After:

 ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/processingfoundation1/original/2X/3/354879353e15887e47d3019adae428b576d756e5.png)

After stopping and starting Processing I see this:

 ![image](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/processingfoundation1/original/2X/a/a9c7bed67797b651e53d2d6755c8217300ee285d.png)

It does appear to work once installed and I ignored the that it still shows it (_installed_ and _not installed_) in the _Libraries_ tab. This may be a bug.

I keep separate folders for _Processing 3_ and _Processing 4_ in Windows _Documents_ folder. You can change this in the _Preferences_ in the _Processing IDE_.

The examples that come with the Processing IDE worked… the few that I checked.
