# Version 4 on Windows 7?

I just downloaded v 4.1 to my computer, and it won’t work. I’m running Windows 7 64 bit, and Processing won’t run new files or any of the files I built in V3. I get Java errors on the console window. From reading the website, I suspect V4 will only run on Windows 10. Is this correct, or can I make it run on my current system?

Hello @SailorMike,
Processing 4 supports Windows 10 (64-bit Intel). Support for Windows 7 ended in 2018.
On the Microsoft side: security updates and technical [support for Windows 7 ended on January 14, 2020](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/end-of-support).

No problem! By the way, older versions will always be available from the Processing [download page](https://processing.org/download).
