Hello all. I recently downloaded Processing. However, every time I open it, I get this error:

 ![Capture](https://canada1.discourse-cdn.com/flex036/uploads/processingfoundation1/original/2X/0/0673c2ae3dc81e5751bf1830d161f8962f2dd1d8.png)

Does anybody know what this error means and how to fix it?

there was a similar report already.
usually we not “install” ( better UNZIP )
the downloaded processing to windows system.

* * *

try unzip to …/Documents/
so you have

> c:/Users/ \< user \> /Documents/processing-3.5.4/

and after start processing creates “sketchbook” at

> c:/Users/ \< user \> /Documents/Processing/

and also “processing ?system dir?”

> c:/Users/ \< user \> /AppData/Roaming/Processing/

> Just a guess: you could try out v3.4 just for updating libraries: flushed[Download.Processing.org/processing-3.4-windows64.zip](http://Download.Processing.org/processing-3.4-windows64.zip) Also consider uncompressing the “processing-3.4-windows64.zip” in your “%HOMEPATH%\Documents” folder or some other place away from the OS’s system folders. robot
