Hello,
When I attempt to launch Processing on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit the launch screen briefly appears and then closes.
Processing has not written any preferences to my user folder.
I’ve run the program from the Desktop and the C: drive
I’ve tried with anti virus disabled and I’ve created an exception in my anti-virus.
Please find my log attached and thanks for the help.
I’m using this with a MiniPOV4

WOW64
pls, what version of processing you have installed? AND how?
looks like you run the 32bit version on a win 10 / 64 bit
( what actually should work too )

why the path is Processing? usually it contains the revision?
( sadly not the bit\_version)
but the zip filename does!
after download from

> **[Download Processing](https://processing.org/download/)**
>
> Processing is open source and is available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Projects created with Processing are also cross-platform, and can be used on macOS, Windows, Android, Raspberry Pi, and many o…

you find in your browser download folder

> processing-3.5.3-windows64.zip

about 127MB.

* * *

but when you unzip it there is only a directory

> processing-3.5.3

( not show the bit version anymore…)

* * *

you mention enable disable anti virus ( nice try )
but why not do same test about the firewall?

* * *

> run the program from the Desktop and the C: drive
> but later you show it is on D:

also the wording: desktop means you have a desktop icon you double click? correct?
(how you make the icon )
but the "C:drive " does not fit to the install path and your desktop wording??

* * *

best do the whole download and install again and report every step.

What might be the issue is that in addition to telling Windows it is not a virus when you first download and run the program, you also have to make sure Windows didn’t quarantine any of the files anyway. You can check this by going to Virus & Threat Protection \> Protection History \> and restoring any quarantined file.
