Howdy folks!

I’d like to announce NetCDF for Processing, a wrapper around the [NetCDF Java library](https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/thredds/current/netcdf-java/). The goal is to provide a simple API for accessing scientific datasets in formats like [HDF5](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hierarchical_Data_Format), [NetCDF](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NetCDF), [GRIB](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GRIB), and [many more](https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/thredds/current/netcdf-java/reference/formats/FileTypes.html).

Have a look on [GitHub](https://github.com/nickmcintyre/processing-netcdf) and please keep me posted with any feedback or suggestions. Additional examples and documentation are on the way!

Gobble gobble,
Nick

This is fantastic Nick. Exactly what I’m looking for to parse some climate data.
Thanks very much!!

Glad to hear it! I’m curious to learn what may be missing or otherwise needs a rethink.
