I just moved on from Scratch to Processing. I want to make a project that generates certain tesselations as the background just like scratch. e.g. you can set up certain backgrounds and randomly generate them on scratch. How can I do that?

Before starting with Processing I tried Blockly, same type as Scratch. But I didn’t like it all. Processing is much richer. But your question is somewhat vage. Processing is the ideal tool for what you want. But you have to be especific. I would recommend watching videos of Daniel Shiffman on YouTube.

Can you link to a scratch sketch as an example of what you mean by “tessellations”? Do you mean a tiled background image?
