A few years back, Jeremy Douglas (a moderator I really appreciated for his constant help and kindness) used to keep track of all the contributions and projects around Processing. I believe the idea was to preserve and document this little world.

A few examples come to mind:

- A list of [unofficial libraries](https://discourse.processing.org/t/libraries-not-listed-on-libraries-page/11806)

- Contributing to [Rosetta Code](https://discourse.processing.org/t/rosetta-examples-development/18945) with Processing (and its different flavors)

- Archiving [resources](https://github.com/jeremydouglass/rosetta_examples_p5/) for the Processing community

I always appreciated his willingness to catalogue Processing’s history, to leave traces of it. In return, some of us, myself included, enjoyed sharing community-related news: the release of a creative coding book, a new interactive museum installation, a meetup… It always felt a bit like unearthing [small treasures](https://discourse.processing.org/t/places-online-where-documentation-of-amazing-projects-exist/3601).

These days, I feel that excitement has faded (maybe it’s a side effect of the COVID years), and many familiar faces I used to interact with here (including Jeremy himself… what happened to him?) seem to have disappeared. On my side, professional life slowly pulled me away from this space as well.

Yet, even though I don’t use Processing as much as I used to, I still feel that need to connect with people from this community and share the bits of information I’ve gathered here and there.

So, allow me to ask you (regulars, both old and new, and hobbyists alike):

- Where, in your opinion, is the Processing community most active these days?

- Do you have an online presence outside this forum where you discuss creative coding (X, Bluesky, Reddit, blog, etc.)?

- Are there any people or accounts you’d recommend following (anything related to computational geometry, parametric design, esoteric programming, or similar)?

Please let me know (you can reply here or send me a private message if you prefer).

Summer is around the corner, and I’d love to reconnect and see what everyone’s been exploring.
