# Processing don't open with MacOS M1

hello, I started using processing a little while ago. from one day to another the program did not open anymore.

I already restarted, reinstalled… I didn’t find any solution on the internet.

The program simply opens, flashes the splash screen and closes. has no warning.

I’m using MacOS 12.6.2

Any solution? 🥲

**logging with the console.**  
**you can see that there is some error in the launch.**

Yes, i use MacBook Pro M1. Monterey version.

I presume that you downloaded the _Apple Silicon_ version of Processing.

nothing I find and now helps me. the program does not give any type of response.

Não é algum problema específico, simplesmente não abre

I installed Apple Silicon version

SOLVED PROBLEM.

I deleted the Processing folder in the library.  
I imagine it was the caches

Glad that you got it working. I’m just curious, how did the Processing folder get into the library (folder?); did you install it there or did the app do it?

Oops, sorry it wasn’t the processing folder. it was the Cache folder, from library, that I deleted
