# Processing doesn't save my preferences

like i hate it because then it doesnt auto save

If you open _File \> Preferences_ from the Processing IDE you will see this:

The last few lines show the location of the preferences.txt file.

@glv I had found the preferences dialog but didn’t read the bottom bit so thanks for that, and it does have an auto-save option so both my questions answered 😄
