# Processing 4.4.4 CLI (command line interpreter)

Hi @glv!

You can use `processing.exe cli` instead of `processing-java.exe` everything should be the same as before.

As for that issue, a PR has been created and approved, which means that it is waiting for a new release of Processing.

As for the future of the CLI, we have already expanded the functionality (I use this in the WIP VSCode extension) and are planning to expand its functionality in the future.
