# Problems running Image

Hey, guys for some reason I have been getting a blank screen when I run my code. I have saved my sketch and gone to Sketch \> add file \> located picture \> and clicked open. I look and open my sketch and a data file is made with a picture. When I run the problem with the correct code structure, I run and I get a blank page? I am doing something wrong? I need help. I have read, followed the video tutorials and I still have problems. I have even resized the image, I have changed the file name from cosmos to cosmos.jpg etc. I don’t know what I could have wrong. I have the picture below showing my problem.

Hi,

you are never actually telling processing to show the image. Look at [image()](https://processing.org/reference/image_.html).

PS: Next time, please copy/paste your code here and also put your assets so everyone can run your sketch.
