# Prerequisites for GSoC 2020

Hello. I’m Parth Patil, a 3rd year BTech Student. I was interested in doing GSoC with processing. I had a few doubts regarding the selection process.

1. Are there any prerequisites that we should satisfy before applying?
2. How many contributions should one have before applying and it is compulsory?

1. Yes, one needs to be a college students to participate in GSoC
2. No, I do not think any contributions are required.
