# PostgreSQL user needs guidance in building sql-library-processing

Three years ago a user [posted about a problem with single quotes in the PostgreSQL driver](https://forum.processing.org/two/discussion/comment/45968). I’ve hit the same problem – is the intersection of Processing and PostgreSQL really just two users? – and twelve days ago created pull requests at @fjenett’s repo and at [Ben Fry’s fork](https://github.com/benfry/sql-library-processing/pull/1) but there’s been no response.

I’ve never tried to pass myself off as a Java programmer so I’d appreciate any step-by-step guidance in building, installing, and testing my fork.
