# Please explain to me this strange behavior of Visual Studio Code Thank you

Excuse my bad English.  
Hello, as I am a novice I will try to explain what has been ruining my life for days.

In Visual Studio Code - I am running a js program with **"live server: open with live server …** and, the code does not run properly!

Exactly the same code if I run it in **Run and Debug** , it is performs perfectly! WHY? Please answer me in terms a beginner can understand!
