Please [add a pin to the PCD map](https://github.com/processing/processing-community-day/issues/new?template=01-new-event.yml) if you haven’t already. It will help people find this thread and make it easier to get people excited about your PCD 😃

@squishynotions thanks for organizing a PCD! I teach in Galveston and hope to bring some of my high school students. My intro electronics class is based on the Makeability Lab’s [physical computing textbook](https://makeabilitylab.github.io/physcomp/) so they’ll be exploring art and technology. No CS courses for me this year, but I’ll check in with my colleague about a joint field trip.

Update to the update: Our event will be Saturday Oct 17th, 10AM-2PM at the Expressive STEM Center in San Marcos, TX. Free and open to both adults and kids - bring the family! Flyers, registration info, and details to come.

Please make sure to update the information on [your event page](https://deploy-preview-294--processing-community-day.netlify.app/event/pcd-san-marcos-tx-2026-d0e8f8d/). Scroll down to the link that says “Edit this event data”.

For now it still displays as “Location to be announced”.
