I see! This appears to be a bug with the way GitHub pre-populates the issue form. I have submitted a ticket to GitHub support (screenshot below).

In the meantime, you can make the changes directly to your event’s [`metadata.json`](https://github.com/processing/processing-community-day/tree/main/pcd-website/src/content/events/pcd-nyc-2026) via a Pull Request.
