# PCD @ Mexico 2026

Hi! I’m organizing a Processing Community Day 2026 event in [CDMX, México].  
I’m Juan Fuentes, a Web Craft Developer, educator and lettering/code researcher based in Mexico City.

I’m interested in organizing PCD @ Mexico City 2026 as a small public gathering around Processing, p5.js, creative coding education and digital writing tools.

My current idea is to start with a minimum viable PCD: a short talk, a beginner-friendly p5.js workshop, and an open demo/session around digital calligraphy, gesture-based brushes and eQuills / Caligraph experiments.

The event would take place in October 2026. Venue and exact date are still TBA, but I’m exploring universities, cultural spaces and creative communities in Mexico City.

I’d be happy to connect with anyone interested in helping, collaborating or joining the local node.

Hi @JuanFuent.es @sableraph  
I’m excited to be part of a Spanish-language PCD. I’m from Lima, Peru, and I’m not sure if I’ll be able to host a PCD due to time and logistical constraints, but I’d be happy to join online (if the event supports it).

My name is Emilio Vegas (Emiliusvgs), and I’m an augmented reality creator and evangelist. I learned to create AR with Processing over 15 years ago. I might be able to contribute a virtual workshop, maybe.

I’m interested in attending so I’m dropping a comment here to hopefully get more updates on this as it moves forward 😁 I’ve been quite away from social media from a bit but I’m a SWE and been doing some on and off sketching for the past few years, let me know if there’s something I could also help with
