# Open Call for Processing Project Lead – Apply Now!

**The open call for the Processing Project Lead position is now closed. Thank you to everyone who applied!**

We are looking for an experienced software developer with a passion for open-source software, technical leadership, and community-driven development. The Processing Project Lead will oversee software maintenance, roadmap, documentation, and contributor engagement for the [Processing software](https://processing.org/) and library.

This role offers a competitive salary of $95,000 and requires 40 hours per week. While applicants can be based anywhere, having overlapping business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM) with all team members is essential. Our team is distributed across the United States (New York, California, Illinois) and Germany.
