# No .exe in export folder

I have exported my project using File\>Export Application… but in the resulting folder I can’t find an executable file. I am using windows 10 processing 4.0a3  
I selected windows and include java in the application options (I would post picture but I can only post one)

This is the file it gives me

hi,  
i had same behaviour with 4.0a3, some files missing in result folder  
however ‘a’ is for alpha, it’s better to stick to [3.5.4](https://processing.org/download/) if you can  
i didn’t see a clear pattern when and why it happen, but if you can provide an example, you can describe the problem in the [github issues](https://github.com/processing/processing4/issues) section
