# Lint is giving error

in every file i am getting i am getting this error by eslint, as you can see in the picture above the red color on the scroll bar.  
I found some solution for this on stackoverflow but could not find the most appropriate solution for myself.

Hi @AdityaShrivastav,

From the [ESLint documentation](https://eslint.org/docs/latest/rules/linebreak-style), this line break rule should be fixable.

You can either [configure VSCode to auto fix eslint warnings](https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/workflow-auto-eslinting#step-4-adding-code-actions-on-save) or do [it with the command line](https://eslint.org/docs/latest/use/command-line-interface#fix-problems):

```plaintext
$ eslint --fix --ext .js .

```
