# LED CONTROL Serial myPort vs. Serial port

Serial.list() will return the **available** ports.  
As they are used up, the list would change.

Try this:

```auto
String[] availablePorts = Serial.list();

printArray(availablePorts); 

myPort = new Serial(this, availablePorts[3], 9600); 
// etc.

```
