# Laboratory Call for Fall 19 Residents

My name is Zhenzhen Qi. I am a 2014 graduate from ITP, NYU. I was a resident artist at Laboratory in 2016. I received tremendous amount of support and help to realize my artistic vision during my stay at Laboratory. So, I would like to share Laboratory’s Fall 2019 call with the Processing community here.

Laboratory’s mission is to provide practicing interactive artists with the time, space, and freedom to make thoughtful and innovative work. We offer space to live and work, tools, mentorship, and connections to make that happen. Plus, a $200 a month stipend if you have the right to work in the USA.

**Dates**  
For our Fall 19 residency, we’re looking for artists interested in spending 2-3 months between **Sep 1st to Nov 30th** in 2019, working on projects in any of our three tracks:

- Production - Make awesome new work
- Research - Investigate an issue
- Learning - Develop new skills

**Program Fees**  
The Laboratory residency is a fully funded program. Each artist will have a room in a shared apartment, and a private studio space one floor below in the same building. Residents will also receive a $200/month stipend during their residency period.
